1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of OWL ECR, operated by Jet Gelardino / JetPage Web Development. By signing in, activating an account, connecting Google Sheets, creating a grade request, submitting data through a request link, or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms and the Data Privacy Notice.

If you use OWL ECR for a school or organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so and to process the information involved. If you do not agree, do not use the service with real teacher or learner data.

2. Service description and status

OWL ECR is a teacher productivity tool that connects to teacher- or school-controlled Google Sheets, displays mapped E-Class Record information, and writes selected records to mapped cells. It may also provide class configuration, roster synchronization, grade-request links, account activation, synchronization summaries, and optional subscription features.

OWL ECR is not the official DepEd E-Class Record, does not replace required school review or records procedures, and is not represented as being owned, endorsed, certified, or operated by the Department of Education or Google. “Google,” “Google Drive,” and “Google Sheets” are services and marks of Google LLC.

3. Eligibility, accounts, and Google authorization

  • You must be an authorized teacher, school employee, administrator, or invited subject teacher acting within your assigned duties.
  • You must provide accurate account and profile information and use only a Google account you are authorized to use.
  • You are responsible for the security of your Google account, devices, active sessions, and any action performed through your OWL ECR account.
  • You must not share credentials, impersonate another person, bypass account activation, or attempt to access another teacher’s workspace.
  • You may revoke Google authorization, but features that require Google Sheets will stop working.

OWL ECR may require administrator activation, an active trial, or a valid subscription before teacher features become available.

4. Connected Sheets and school records

You retain control of the Google Sheets you own. You are responsible for ensuring that every linked Sheet is an authorized copy, contains the expected template structure, and may lawfully be used with OWL ECR.

You must keep learner records private, avoid “Anyone with the link” sharing, grant access only to authorized personnel, and follow applicable school, DepEd, records-management, and privacy requirements. OWL ECR is not responsible for access that you grant through Google Drive or for changes made outside the service.

Always review the destination cells and the resulting Google Sheet after synchronization. The teacher or school remains responsible for the accuracy and completeness of official records.

5. Grade request links

Grade request links are time-limited bearer credentials. Anyone who receives a valid link may be able to view the roster and submit grades assigned to that request. Advisers must send links only to the intended authorized subject teacher using an appropriate private channel.

Recipients must not forward, publish, reuse, probe, or alter a request link. They must verify the class, subject, and term before submitting. OWL ECR may reject invalid, altered, expired, completed, or revoked requests.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use OWL ECR to:

  • access, disclose, scrape, copy, or alter records without authorization;
  • publish learner names, grades, scores, links, tokens, or other confidential school information;
  • upload malware, interfere with security controls, test vulnerabilities without written permission, or disrupt the service;
  • circumvent protected formula cells, mapped ranges, subscriptions, activation controls, or access restrictions;
  • misrepresent generated records as verified when they have not been reviewed; or
  • use the service for unlawful, discriminatory, harmful, fraudulent, or non-educational processing of learner information.

7. Access plans, subscriptions, and payments

OWL ECR access may be offered as a pilot, complimentary account, manually activated account, trial, or paid subscription. When paid access is enabled, the price, access duration, and included service will be displayed before checkout. Payment processing is handled through PayMongo under its own terms and privacy practices.

A completed payment extends access for the period shown at checkout; it does not transfer ownership of the service or guarantee uninterrupted availability. The current checkout is a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew. Any refund or cancellation conditions presented at checkout form part of these Terms. Contact support promptly about duplicate, erroneous, or disputed charges; rights and remedies required by applicable law remain unaffected.

8. Third-party services

OWL ECR depends on services operated by third parties, including Google authentication, Google Drive, Google Sheets APIs, hosting infrastructure, and PayMongo when payments are enabled. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms, privacy notices, account policies, quotas, and administrator controls.

OWL ECR cannot guarantee that a DepEd or other managed Google Workspace administrator will permit the application, that a third-party service will remain available, or that its interfaces and policies will not change.

9. Ownership and permitted use

OWL ECR’s application code, interface, branding, documentation, and original service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, users receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for authorized school work.

You retain rights in content and Google Sheets you lawfully control. You grant OWL ECR only the limited permission necessary to process that content at your direction and provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any ECR or Grade Sheet template supplied by a school, DepEd, or another rights holder.

10. Availability, updates, and support

Features may be corrected, improved, suspended, or changed to address security, provider requirements, template changes, legal obligations, or operational needs. Scheduled or emergency maintenance may make the service temporarily unavailable.

Support is provided through the published support channel on a reasonable-efforts basis. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, no guaranteed response time, uptime commitment, data-recovery service, or service-level agreement is provided.

11. Educational-record disclaimer

OWL ECR assists with data entry and synchronization but does not independently verify learner identity, score accuracy, grading decisions, formulas, template correctness, Google permissions, or compliance with school rules. Users must review records before relying on or submitting them.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every school workflow. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, JetPage Web Development will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from unauthorized sharing, incorrect data entry, unreviewed synchronization, Google account compromise, altered templates, third-party outages, or user actions outside OWL ECR’s reasonable control.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be excluded under law, or to loss directly caused by fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence established through the proper process.

13. Suspension and termination

OWL ECR may suspend or deactivate access when an account is unapproved, expired, unpaid, compromised, used unlawfully, used in breach of these Terms, or presents a security or privacy risk. Where practical and appropriate, the user will be given notice or an opportunity to address the issue.

You may stop using the service, disconnect Google authorization, or request account deletion. Ending OWL ECR access does not automatically delete records in your Google Sheets.

14. Governing law and concerns

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before starting formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact support so the parties can attempt to resolve the concern in good faith. Mandatory rights, jurisdiction rules, and remedies under applicable law remain unaffected.
